The tradition in this nation was to allow the true residents rule themselves directly, with the Paladin serving only to defend all, and to weigh in in various disputes. As the rest of the world began to descend into chaos, this country began to build a great wall to keep the chaos away from their peaceful land. Both the Paladin and the other leader’s troops kept several warlords from rising, and repelled invasions as the wall went up.
As the wall is finished, our story begins in Kuroi Kiri, the Land of the Black Mist….”
