“The world is in danger. A century ago, a great emperor swept across the land, conquering many warring nations, and uniting them under a single banner. As he reached the ocean on the far side of the world, he looked out over the sea, and now he knew he had done something great. Many were dead, but the warring was over. The emperor started working his way home, leaving his generals in countries to act as their leaders, his hand in their world.
A century later, his grandson sat upon the emperor’s throne. On the day that marked the end of the great war, the emperor was found murdered by his most trusted advisers. Almost instantly, the world began to sink into chaos. Warlords rose and overthrew their leaders, the leaders declared themselves independent and executed those not loyal to them alone, and the advisers declared themselves ruler of the world.
Across the world, on the spot where it had all ended, ruled the child of the first Emperor’s most trusted general, The Paladin. The tradition in this nation was to allow the true residents rule themselves directly, with the Paladin serving only to defend all, and to weigh in in various disputes. As the rest of the world began to descend into chaos, this country began to build a great wall to keep the chaos away from their peaceful land. Both the Paladin and the other leader’s troops kept several warlords from rising, and repelled invasions as the wall went up.
As the wall is finished, our story begins in Kuroi Kiri, the Land of the Black Mist….”

I was really disappointed with Atlantis 2… mostly because I think it would’ve made a much better TV series than it did a movie.
Granted, now that I think about it, the idea reminded me a lot of one I just finished, Huntik: Secrets and Seekers….

A Mom went to have dinner with her son who lives with his roommate.
During the course of the meal, his mother couldn’t help but notice how handsome his roommate was. She had been suspicious about her sons sexuality but being a good mother she felt that he would let her know if and when the time was right but seeing the two together just made her more curious.
Over the course of the evening, while watching the interaction between the two she wondered even more if there was more here than meets the eye. Her son, sensing his mothers watchfully eye volunteered, “really Mom, I can tell what you’re thinking and you can just get it out of your mind, we are just roommates and nothing more”.
About a week later the roommate remarked, “ever since your mother was here the silver serving platter has been missing, do you think she took it?”
He responded, “Well I’m sure she didn’t but I will email her and ask just to be sure” he sat down and wrote:
Hey Mom
I’m not saying you did take the silver platter from the house and I am not saying you didn’t take it but the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.
Love,
Your Son.
A couple days later he got a response from his mother:
Dear Son,
I am not saying that you do sleep with your roommate and I am not saying that you don’t sleep with him and you know I love you and could care less either way but the fact remains that if he was sleeping in his own bed he would have found the platter under his pillow.
When are the two of you coming for dinner?
